This Week at Good Shepherd

Sunday, Jan 8: Sunday Service, 10:00am (non-communion)
Upcoming Sunday
The Gospels tell only a little about Jesus’ life as an infant. For most of Jesus’ adult life, he lived quietly in Galilee. Jesus had no followers. Jesus was not famous. But at the exact time God had appointed, Jesus left that obscurity behind. Now we watch Jesus begin his public ministry. As Jesus begins his ministry, it quickly becomes clear that this is more than a random carpenter’s son. As Christ begins, we see exactly who he is and what he came to do.
Zoom Bible Study
Ruth shows how God’s people can experience his sovereignty, wisdom, and covenant kindness. These often come in hard circumstances and are expressed through the kindness of others. Ruth shows kindness to her mother-in-law, Naomi, by leaving her homeland to care for her. Redemption is linked to kindness and is at the heart of the story.
Sunday Bible Study
God’s people want to tell others about the peace, joy, and forgiveness they have in Jesus. But many Christians are unsure how to do this. Join us as we learn some simple, practical ways to reach out to the lost souls God has brought into our lives.
