Good Shepherd Weekly 11/16
New Sunday Morning Bible Study
Sundays 9:00am In-Person

God's people want to tell others about the peace, joy, and forgiveness they have in Jesus. But many Christians are unsure how to do this. Join us as we learn some simple, practical ways to reach out to the lost souls God has brought into our lives.
Communion Offered this Sunday
Communion will be offered this coming Sunday, November 20 instead of on November 27. Pastor will be out of town on November 27.
Advent by Candlelight
Our annual Advent by Candlelight service will be held on Wednesday, November 30. Advent by Candlelight is an opportunity for sharing a meal together as well as a time to start preparing our hearts and minds for Christmas. We will start the meal at 6:00pm and the service will begin around 7:00pm (dependent upon how quickly folks finish eating!). The service will feature a series of brief devotions, readings, and advent songs.
Come One, Come All
The Christmas season is coming upon us and Good shepherd would like all hands on deck to beautify the sanctuary and building. The Christmas decorating party will be December 4, 2022 at 3pm. We will be serving Pizza and having an ugly sweater contest.
Ladies Group Outing
On Saturday, December 10th the Ladies Group has an outing planned for a trip in to Boston. A link to the event is below, and includes some great shopping and fellowship time with lunch before shopping.

Upcoming Sunday
There are some things which deserve our attention before anything else. There are some things that are so important that they need to be dealt with before anything else. "First things first," we'll say. But some of the most important things come at the end--both at the end of our lives and at the end of time. Our faith looks forward to the resurrection that awaits us. Our faith looks forward to the day when Jesus returns to earth at the end of all things. We look forward to the day when we no longer see with eyes of faith, but with our own eyes. These last things are some of the most important things.
