Befriend a Missionary

Our congregation participates in the Befriend a Missionary program through the Lutheran Women's Missionary Society (LWMS). We responsible for sending cards of encouragement to two missionaries for the month of November. If you visit the LWMS bulletin board in the Bible Study area you will find cards and more info on the missionaries. You can write a card and leave it in Debbie Giovinazzo's mailbox.

Crawl to the Cross

Crawl to the Cross II is coming up – another Fellowship opportunity planned around driving radio controlled trucks on the church’s property. The date is Sunday, October 30 after worship and it is hosted by the stewardship committee. Lunch will be provided, but we ask you to sign up to let us know you are coming. There will be 6 different trails with trucks set up to give you different driving experiences. Wear sturdy shoes to walk in the woods, you will be 4x4 off-roading to explore places on the property you never knew existed. And being close to Halloween there might be some mini scares along the trails!

Bring your own truck if you have one. Come and try something different with your fellow members! Reinhard has more info. Rain date is Nov. 6.

Sunday Morning Bible Study

Sundays 9:00am In-Person

The Light in The Darkness is a Bible class on how God promised to preserve his Gospel and how he has preserved it for us today. This study not only teaches doctrine concerning God’s Word, but also covers the history of how the Old Testament and New Testament has come to us through surviving manuscripts.

Upcoming Sunday

When it seems we lack providence or protection for our daily lives, it can be hard to avoid worry. But Jesus focuses us. He points to creatures that do not labor or toil, yet are daily fed and clothed. Even more Jesus points to our Father who promises to give us the heavenly treasures of his kingdom. Jesus assures us that Father will throw in needed earthly possessions as well. We can pursue heavenly treasure wholeheartedly, confident that our Father knows all we need.
