Friendsgiving
Mark your calendars for an afternoon of Thanksgiving fellowship! Pastor G and Sarah will be hosting a Friendsgiving celebration at the parsonage (136 Juniper Ave. Attleboro, MA) on Saturday, November 18 starting at 1pm. This get together will be an open house until 7pm. Snacks, food, and beverages will be provided. We hope to see you there!
Card for Jon S. and a Missionary
In the fellowship area you will find a table with a set of greeting cards. One set is for our member Jon Siegler who is currently serving in the Army and is stationed in Poland. Please take a moment to sign the card to give Jon some encouragement.
Another card is for a missionary in Equador, Rev. Nathan Schulte. Our congregation participates in the Befriend a Missionary program through the Lutheran Women’s Missionary Society (LWMS). We have the opportunity to send cards of encouragement to missionaries for the month of November. If you visit the LWMS bulletin board in the Bible Study area you will find cards and more info on the missionaries. Please, sign this card and give Pastor Schulte some encouragement!
Wednesday Evening Bible Study
We will continue or study of Mark tonight Wednesday, October 11 at 7:00pm. Mark gets to the point in his book when he wrote in the first verse, “The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God.” That’s the last time he’ll give you his opinion of Jesus. He will show you what Jesus did. Mark includes more of Jesus’ miracles than the other gospel writers. He shows you that Jesus is on the move from Galilee to Jerusalem where he will die and rise again. He lets you watch Jesus and listen to him so that you can experience him for yourself. Mark shares these precious memories of Jesus, so that you too can be drawn into his story and share in his joy.
Sunday Morning Bible Study

The beginning of something is important. That is especially true when it comes to the Bible. Genesis is foundational to the whole Bible, and to every human life. Genesis tells us who God is, who we are, how things went wrong, and the plan that God has put in place to return the earth to the way it was meant to be.
Upcoming Sunday

Every government has power only because God gave it to them. As citizens, we support the government not because those we voted for were elected or because we approve of the current tax policy or even because freedom of religion is enshrined in the First Amendment. We support our government because it was instituted by God. We know that the King of kings is in control of all the governments of this world, and that he works all things for the eternal good of his dear children.
