With another Game Developer Carousel behind us, I want to thank you and everyone that's supported this exercise of whimsy.
To all of you who made the 1,151 total rides this year, thank you for spending a few moments of precious time away from the convention. I hope you made it safely home and remember the joy you are always able to have.

There are a number of people I need to thank who helped make this year's GDCarousel possible.
The Children's Creativity Museum
This whole thing wouldn't happen if it wasn't for the staff of the Children's Creativity Museum. Their year-round care for the LeRoy King Carousel is what makes all this joy possible. I especially want to thank Ruby and her assistant for running the carousel the whole day. I also want to thank Dave for dealing with my questions about the event. 😉
If you're local, the museum and carousel normally operates on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10am to 4pm.
Ryan Galiotto
Ryan managed the line this year and made a monumental positive difference to everyone's experience, including my own. Ryan continues to be the most reliable house manager and showmen I know!
Mark DeLoura
The badge ribbons were generously made possible by Mark DeLoura! The ribbons helped communicate the Carousel to new people this year and is something we're going to focus more on next year.
The Game Developer Conference
This year GDC engaged with me earlier this year for ways to spread the word about carousel more, which I'm very grateful for.
