Open from 10am to 6pm on Thursday, March 20th.
Excited to see you all at the LeRoy King Carousel next Thursday! We're all getting ready to make sure you have a great moment of joy and whimsy.
Not Visiting GDC This Year?
If you're unable to join in at San Francisco, look for a carousel close to you.
It may not be open on a Thursday, but sometime in the next two weekends, take a ride! While Seg sadly can't cover the costs your ride, the true spirit of whimsy knows no geographical bounds.
Showcase that spirit to the world! If you post on social media, use #GDCarousel as the hashtag or tag the GDCarosuel social media accounts if one exists on that platform.
Reply to this email to send photos! Include your name and where the carousel your riding is. Even if you link to your social media post in the email, then we’ll get to see it! I may feature your ride in a future email.
Badge Ribbons Arrived
The badge ribbons Mark DeLoura ordered have arrived safely here in the Bay Area. Hopefully we will have enough…
If you catch either Mark or Seg around GDC, we might have a ribbon to give out early under two conditions:
- Don’t get another ribbon when you ride.
To make sure everyone that wants a ribbon gets one, we still limit to one ribbon per person. Rides are still unlimited! - Tell everyone about the Game Developer Carousel.
Getting a ribbon early includes the responsibility to show everyone you meet the ribbon and let them know the carousel is free on the Thursday.
