Rhyme All About It
Rhyme All About It
Going to be a really quick newsletter this month, as I was planning on a longer tirade, but I want to let that brew for a few more weeks. So instead, I wanted to share a quick project I did last week and also ask for some help.
The Project
Last week, I spent a bit of time creating a lil website that turns recent news into poems. Limericks, to be specific. It does this by scrapping the headlines off news sites and using (you guessed it) AI to turn these headlines into a poem. Currently, the site offers 3 poems, each one based off a different news source, FOX News, BBC News and The New York Times. I find it kinda fun to compare the content and tones of the generated poems. That's pretty much it. I am not sure yet if it's fun, depressing or just meh.

The Ask
I am currently in the early stages of a project about AI's impact on interpersonal relationships, specifically the automation or augmentation of these relationships, both positive and negative. In that pursuit, I would love to hear from you on this topic.
Have you used AI tools in your interpersonal relationships? (Be that improving a letter or email, getting present ideas, advice on how to deal with a situation.)
Why did you do this?
How did this make you feel?
Have you suspected that someone else has used AI tools in their dealings with you?
Why do you suspect this?
How did this make you feel?
Any other thoughts on the subject also appreciated.
Feel free to email me as a reply to this newsletter. All answers will be kept anonymous, of course, but may also be written about here. Looking forward to hearing from you.
That's all from me this month, thanks for reading (and hopefully writing) and I hope you have a great week,
Fred
