65% of people think they have gross feet

65% of people think they have gross feet

Foreword: For any newcomers, this is my third monthly newsletter in which I will hopefully give an insight into my practice, projects and inspirations.

This is gonna be a short newsletter as I don't have much to say this month. I've been keeping my head down and working on a couple of fun projects, and as a result managed to completely forget this newsletter was due, till today. My bad, sorry.

In an attempt to provide at least some "content" here are 5 interesting things I discovered this month:

  1. Paper straws are a lie and the media seems to really want cast doubt on this. It's worth thinking about who these straw man arguments serve?

  2. Big data could be the future of socialist planned economy

  3. The richest man in Britain (if he still lives here) thinks we need a laser on our hoovers to find dirt

  4. Waking up to a dying plant really bums you out (please write me if you can help Margaret recover)

  5. 72% of people think they are kinder than average

The last interesting thing on that list is from a survey I put out this week. It asked people to imagine they were in a room with 100 random strangers, similar to their peers. Then knowing nothing about the other strangers, to answer a set of questions about how they thought they would compare to the other strangers. Are you smarter than average? Are you better at cooking than average? Are you happier than average? You get the idea, If you want to also take the survey it is here.

I promise to share the unscientific data with you all, but it will be part of a project I am working on/struggling with.

That's all from me, hope you've enjoyed and have a great month.
