Merely Roleplayers live at Dragonmeet 2023
We're doing our first live show since Lights Out in 2021!
When: 10:30am am Saturday 2 December

Fan Fic Mish Mash
Heroes you know, in a story you don't.
See new takes on classic characters embark on a never-before-seen adventure.
For this show, I'm running a one-off session of Interstitial: Our Hearts Intertwined by Riley Hopkins, which is inspired by crossover/alternate universe fan fiction, Kingdom Hearts, and making your Star Wars action figures and your My Little Ponies go on adventures together when you were little.
The players – Merely Roleplayers regulars Alexander Pankhurst, Natalie Winter, and Strat (Vigil's Graham, Gwynned, and Brier) – are all taking on the roles of public domain characters from literature and legend. Keep an eye on Instagram and Tumblr, where we'll soon announce exactly who they're all playing!

Entry to Fan Fic Mish Mash is included with Dragonmeet convention tickets. If you get a ticket to Dragonmeet, you can come to our show – there's no need to book separately at all.
But! The Pouilly Room does only seat 20 people. So do try to arrive a few minutes early to guarantee yourself a seat.

So I found out the Podcast Zone had accepted my pitch for this show just too late to let you know in the November issue of this newsletter – and the December issue isn't coming out until after Dragonmeet. Hence this off-schedule update!
Even if you can't make it to Dragonmeet this year, I'd love if you could spread the word about the show! The different elements of Dragonmeet (game sessions, trading hall, Indie Games on the Hour, Podcast Zone, seminar track) are all organised by different teams, which means it can be hard for people to get a single view of what's going on and schedule their day. The seminar schedule and Podcast Zone live show schedule are in different places on the website, for example.
So especially for shows like ours, which is starting just as people are arriving and getting their bearings, a bit of buzz before the day is really important! We'll be posting about it on Insta and Tumblr, and your shares and comments would really help make sure everyone who would enjoy the show knows it's happening.
