Hold that thought
All right, luvvies? It's the second Friday of the month, which usually means you can expect an email from me. But a new year is a good time for a change, and I'm changing up when I send these out for 2024.
That's not the only thing I'm changing up, by the way - but you'll have to wait for the first official Foggy Outline newsletter of 2024 to find out more about that. (Perhaps you already noticed the Foggy Outline homepage has had a touch-up?)
Basically, I was worried these emails were getting a bit long, and these changes I'm being coy about are only going to make it longer. So instead of one giant email a month, I'm going to start sending a shorter one every two weeks, on Mondays.
If you're subscribed mainly for A Net Too Wide to Break His Fall, the ongoing adventures of Callum, who can't be seen or noticed by anyone until he's formally introduced to them by someone he already met, things will stay roughly the same for you! You'll still get a new chapter of A Net Too Wide to Break His Fall in your inbox once a month (or every four weeks, which works out at slightly more Callum for your buck over the year).
Foggy Outline 2024: ready and waiting
This coming Monday, 12 Feb, I'll send an email telling you about stuff we've got coming up. What I'm working on behind the scenes and how close it is to being with you. (That's also where I'll explain what I mean about changing things up.)
Then two weeks later on Monday 26 Feb, Callum's back in the new chapter of A Net Too Wide to Break His Fall (or is he), along with updates on Foggy Outline stuff that's already out. The latest podcast episodes you might have missed, that kind of thing.
And that'll be the sequence from there. One Monday you get the ready email: stuff that's already out of the oven and ready to eat. Two Mondays later, you get the waiting email: a Bake Off-style peek through the oven door at what's still cooking.
More stuff overall, but served up in more manageable portions.
Well, now I'm hungry. I hope you are too. Talk to you Monday.
