FIGHTBACK, an Aotearoa-based socialist media project, is soliciting contributions for our newsletter for the rest of 2026 on the topic of Workers’ Power for the 21^st Century. We offer a koha of $150 for every article we publish.

· Who is “the working class” in the 2020s – particularly in Aotearoa/New Zealand?

· What would “workers power” or even “the dictatorship of the proletariat” look like today? How could working people and their communities organise to take power into their own hands?

· Are trade unions expressions of workers power?

· How does workers’ power intersect with decolonization, feminism, queer and trans struggles, climate change, technological shifts, and international solidarity?

· Can workers’ power be achieved through elections and the existing State? If not, what forms of new power could we adopt?
