Our final four days of the season are here!

A previous newsletter incorrectly stated that we would be closed this Saturday. We’re happy to clarify that the Fifth Maine Museum will be open all four days of our final long weekend: Friday through Monday, Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
Please stop in this weekend and say hello before we close for the season! Gaze out the windows overlooking Whitehead Passage, try out our self-guided audio tour through Memorial Hall, hoist a flag in the Abandon Ship! interactive exhibit, chat with our docents, enjoy the historic photography exhibit in the dining room, or simply sit on the porch and watch the waves break along the rocky shore.
This is a special building with a remarkable history, and we are so glad to be able to share it with you. We hope you’ll join us for one last visit before we close our doors for the season!

Membership Survey
If you have not yet done so, please take a moment to take our Membership Survey, whether you are a current or former member. This survey is an opportunity for you to share your feedback with us. We would like to know what is important to our members, past and present, and how we can better serve the community that supports us. Your feedback would truly mean a lot.
