Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for subscribing to The Explorer. This publication will focus on topics such as local history, local environmental work, and local scientific research. I hope to one day make this a major part of my career with paid offerings. For now, however, I simply ask that you sit back, get a preferred beverage, and join me for an adventure through West Michigan. Speaking of which, I am happy to announce that the first article of The Explorer, Release A Million Fish, Feed A Man For Life, an exploration of the Michigan DNR’s fish stocking program. It will be releasing sometime this week.

What you can expect from The Explorer

The current plan for The Explorer is to release one article per month, with an accompanying stylized page with photography (ideally, these will be released simultaneously. However, this month’s page will be somewhat delayed.) I also eventually plan on introducing an events calendar for local organizations.
