In which November is about to be eaten by a dragon (affectionate)
look, i'm just saying, if you need me, you might have to schedule it in advance
Let’s start with the normal stuff: I have two books next year!
Titan of the Stars is a sci-fic/horror story with elements of Alien and the RMS Titanic (you know, the parts where corporations are bad and the class system is deeply exploitative). It comes out May 27th, 2025 just in time for hatching summer.

Sky on Fire is the unexpected sequel to Aetherbound, in that I’ve had it written since 2022 but wasn’t sure it would ever see the light of day. I am so, so thrilled to share Morgan Enni and her story of reluctant rebellion with you. The book will be released on July 22, 2025.

I only have one more event in 2024, and that’s HalCon from November 8-10. It’s my first time to Halifax since 1990, so I am sure it will be an adventure! I hope to see you there if you are able to come, and if not, we’ll see what next year brings us in terms of travel.
In the meantime, I’ll be at home, writing my next books. Um, except for the month of November, when I will be playing Dragon Age: Veilguard1. This is the 4th Dragon Age game, and I have done my best to learn almost nothing about it, because I loved playing the first three that way. I am extremely excited. Like, extremely. I expect to cry and squee and yell and be emotionally manipulated and make terrible egg puns.
if my agent or any of my editors are reading this, please be assured that I will still be working, I’ll just be, uh, slightly more distracted than usual outside of business hours due to being REALLY BAD at new combat styles
