Arts For Art / Vision Festival, the creative improvised music extravaganza, celebrates its thirtieth anniversary this year. The festival takes place at the Abrons Arts Center (466 Grand St, NYC) June 23-28. The festival’s founder, creative dancer Patricia Nicholson Parker, discusses her long commitment to presenting and supporting the free jazz community in an interview that centers a three-hour program.
