Over the past two decades trumpet player Peter Evans has risen to the top echelon of Jazz musicians through a commitment to creativity through collaboration. His Being and Becoming project (Joel Ross on vibes, Nick Jozwiak on bass & synth and Tyshawn Sorey on drums) is set to release its third, and possibly best album, Ars Ludrica, on Evans’ own More Is More Records in October. Host David Mittleman’s interview of Evans will be the focal point of a deep dive into his extensive discography of creative improvised music.
