Sardinian Guitar Sorcerer Paolo Angeli makes a return appearance on Irene's show. Angeli's instrument is a bit of a Frankensteinian melding of regular baritone guitar, cello strings and headstock, Kora-like side strings, propellers and multiple effects, all of which create a wonderfully ethereal wall of beautiful sounds. Paolo's latest album, Níjar (pronounced "knee-HAR"), is an imaginary soundtrack to "Bodas de Sangre," by Federico García Lorca. Paolo Angeli plays a few pieces and chats with Irene.
