GIVE THE DRUMMER SOME with Doug Schulkind  |  Playlist & Chat

Upcoming Program Alert:
Beginning next Friday, June 16, and running for five consecutive Fridays — in five one-hour installments beginning at 11am (eastern)...

Doug Schulkind will be airing the 5-part John Coltrane documentary Tell Me How Long Trane's Been Gone. It is simply spectacular. One of the most profoundly meaningful presentations of a creative artist's life and work I have ever created. He first aired it a decade ago and will be re-broadcasting it now to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Coltrane's passing, on July 17, 1967.

Because it is still commercially available (directly from the producer), the broadcast of this documentary will not be archived.
