Did You Know?
It's always a good idea to check your voter registration before any election to make sure it is still valid. You can go to Vote.gov and select your state to find your department of elections.
From there, you should be able to find information on how to check your registration status, update any information that's changed since the last time you voted, see relevant deadlines for registration, changing information, or early voting, and register to vote. This will also help you learn if your voting districts or polling place have changed to help save time on Election Day!
In Virginia, the deadline to register to vote, or to update an existing registration, is October 15, 2024—if you register after this date and up to Election Day on November 5th, you can only vote using a provisional ballot.
