Blanket tariffs are a harmful economic policy that will increase costs for individuals and businesses across the board. Because of this and other harmful policy decisions promised by the incoming administration, I will no longer be able to keep prices stable as I have been for the last 5 years. So, starting February 2025, prices will increase, and they may continue to increase based on rising costs as the repercussions continue to come. Read more at the latest Discover Teas blog post.

I personally, and Discover Teas as a business, have never been shy of stating where we stand politically, and it should be no surprise that I wish this would have turned out differently for many more reasons than pure economics. However, please note that this decision is based purely in logistics, and I am not interested in debating this consequence of the actions that have been taken by people, or that will be taken by the incoming administration. If you no longer wish to purchase from Discover Teas due to political reasons instead, I thank you for your past support and encourage you to find another tea business to patronize rather than spend your time negatively.

These discounts are automatically applied when you purchase a gift card code from DiscoverTeas.com. Please note that Discover Teas gift card codes are virtual-only and send directly to the recipient e-mail provided. If you want to buy in advance as a gift for later, please fill in your own e-mail address as the recipient—you can then forward the code in that e-mail to your recipient at the correct time (please check your Spam folder, or encourage your recipient to check their Spam folder, for the e-gift card code from Discover Teas).

As I mentioned in the last section, I can't guarantee shipping times once a package is in the hands of the post office, especially at this time of year, but for the best chance that your order will arrive in time for any of the late December holidays this year, please order by 11:59pm Eastern on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2024 if you need your tea by 12/24/24!
If you are traveling during that time or have any other situation where your shipping address may change depending on when your tea is shipped, please let me know as soon as possible and I will do my best to accommodate you. Your tracking numbers should come from Discover Teas' postage provider Stamps.com to your inbox, though mail providers such as Gmail have been known to sort it to your Spam folder.
Missed the deadline? Discover Teas gift cards are sent digitally by e-mail, so as long as your gift recipient checks their inbox/spam folder, they should always arrive the day they are purchased. And they're also on sale through Dec. 3rd!
Donation drive: 20% of tea sales will be donated to nonprofits!
Despite the uphill battle that nonprofit organizations battling fascist policies will face in the coming years, many 501(c)3s are still committed to helping marginalized and oppressed people stand up for their rights, get life-saving healthcare, and survive in the world. Two of these organizations are Al Otro Lado, which provides legal and humanitarian support to refugees and deportees, and Transgender Law Center, which fights against gender-based hate and discrimination with legal advocacy.
In support of these organizations' missions supporting people who are disproportionately targeted by oppressive measures, 20% of all online sales of tea through 11:59pm Eastern on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 3rd, will be donated between both of these organizations. If you don't need tea right now, you are welcome to donate directly to Al Otro Lado here and/or to donate directly to Transgender Law Center here.
And of course, the most direct way to support the most vulnerable people among us, and the most at risk in the coming years, is through mutual aid efforts and organizing around existing community-led initiatives. Even if you cannot donate, volunteer, or organize, you can still help by spreading the word—it makes more of a difference than you know!
