There are so many ways to steep and filter tea, and while the Discover Teas Tea Brewing Guide does provide some baseline recommendations, these are only a starting point. One of the fun things about being a steeper at the Wū Wǒ Tea Ceremony is that you get to share your favorite way of steeping your tea! Want to be part of a tea ceremony that is all about sharing and communi-tea? You can join the Discover Teas Virtual Wū Wǒ ceremony for free as either a steeper or an observer! No experience is needed in order to participate. Learn more about the classic Wū Wǒ ceremony here and the virtual Wū Wǒ format that we use here! This year's virtual Wū Wǒ tea ceremony will take place online on Saturday, April 26th, at 4:00pm Eastern! We will be using Jitsi for this event, and the link will be e-mailed to all participants shortly before the ceremony. As always, this event is completely free—however, the link will be sent through e-mail, so all attendees should register using this link, which also includes details on how to get involved if you'd like to steep along! This year, in the spirit of sharing that is central to the Wū Wǒ ceremony, attendees can receive a gift package containing samples of Discover Teas chosen by the steepers, along with a set of tea filters, a tea brewing guide magnet, recycled paper coaster, Wū Wǒ reference card, and sample of brew glitter!
