Monster Under the Bed is a 32-page full-color erotic horror-comedy comic that we've been working on for a while now! It began out of an urge to create cool stuff together and so far, we've been doing it for basically free! We've actually already finished the story entirely. The Kickstarter is our way of bringing it to print, delivering a really nice digital option to folks around the world, and hopefully finally getting to make a little money off of it!

MUTB is told in two chapters. The first half is about a mysterious home invader who goes hiding under a bed... and may end up finding more than he bargained for...

The second half follows the best friend of the girl whose home was broken into in the first half as she tries to piece together the mystery of the disappearing home invader, because it seem she knows more than she should...

There're genuinely scary bits, silly laughs and goofs, and a lot of sexy times with cool looking monsters!

This story came from one of the most horrifying experiences of my life. It's not something that has happened to me often, but I had a bout of sleep paralysis or something similar a few years back. In my very vivid dreamstate, I saw a person in a yellow trenchcoat standing in the corner of my bedroom watching Beck and I sleep. I tried to get up, to do something about it, but I couldn't, so I just yelled at him and hoped I sounded threatening. That's what woke Beck up who then actually woke me up and, of course, there wasn't a person there and the only scary thing was me trying to yell threateningly in my sleep.

So, of course, I decided to see if I could make that into something fun and erotic and I think we've done a very good job. A friend who got an early look said to me this week that they were very pleasantly surprised because they were never sure where story would turn next, which was kind of the goal!

While we're very excited and proud of the work we've done, we recognize that financial times are tough, censorship is running rampant (including by Stripe, who could at any point in the campaign just decide we don't get any money), and this is our first time actually running a Kickstarter that's being coordinated across the US and UK, so we're also very nervous.
