The Jewish holiday marathon finally came to an end on Tuesday evening so my life has returned to regularly scheduled programming.

It’s weird to know that there’s an entire generation that is not going to know what that phrase means. Streaming has really changed the game—enough to where there was a panel this week discussing the 10 PM hour on broadcast networks. NBC is already considering giving the slot back to local networks, Dick Wolf series be darned. A Hearst executive believed that both CBS and ABC would follow but CBS quickly slammed the door on that idea.
