I was planning on a Christopher Nolan film marathon with the release of Tenet in 2020 but it ended up happening with Oppenheimer opening in 2023. Due to timing—okay, my eyes being exhausted from watching the screen—I did not include Tenet in this marathon. It would have been my second viewing of Tenet, for what it’s worth.

Nolan didn’t get on my radar until after he stepped behind the camera for The Dark Knight trilogy. Aside from The Prestige, I’ve been there for every opening weekend ever since. The Prestige joined Following, Memento, and Insomnia as first viewings during the last week and a half. While I previously saw Interstellar during its opening weekend in 2014, I finally got around to writing a review. The Nolan rewatch is one of the reasons why I didn’t get this piece out sooner.
