I'm Going Back to Sundance in 2022!

Let’s dispense with the good news first: After over two months of waiting, I finally received word that I will be returning to Park City for the 2022 Sundance Film Festival.

I’m making this a quick post as I’m still recovering from a week in New York. I returned to Chicago on Monday night and felt very rundown on Tuesday morning. Because of the symptoms, I decided take a test out of an abundance of caution on Wednesday and the results were negative, thank G-d. Unfortunately, my doctor’s office couldn’t see me until Friday morning so I spent a few hours waiting to see somebody at the Emergency Room. No, an urgent care center wasn’t an option because my insurance won’t cover any of them. Fun times.

I’ll have an in-depth piece up next week about my jam-packed week in NYC. Being under the weather also means not being able to watch these final few films before turning in my CCA ballot. It sucks but I’m putting my physical health first.
