Iliza Shlesinger Gets It
I don’t know about you but I’ve been finding it so exhausting to continually unfriend and unfollow people who I thought were just friends and allies. It’s very isolating to say the least. It’s bad enough that trans spaces are not safe or welcoming to Jews these days. But to have to unfriend other trans people for displaying their Jew-hatred?!? I’m sorry but is there something in the water that I don’t know about? Why are people not even thinking critically and just hating on Jews?!? I don’t get it. I unfollowed a fellow trans critic for going after Noah from Stranger Things and then saying that people should be supporting known antisemite Susan Sarandon. The same Susan Sarandon that has no problem retweeting right-wing antisemites! I thought people would be above buying into pro-Hamas propaganda but I’m disappointed in the people that I once called friends.
