Fall Chagim Are Over After This Weekend
The end of the fall round of chagim this weekend means that I get my weekends back in their entirety. To be fair, I typically take Shabbos off but Sunday is more or less a get-things-done day. It’s usually the day in which I spend writing reviews for the upcoming week or planning that week’s schedule. With films delayed because of the strikes, it also means having to be proactive in determining the editorial calendar.
The holidays give me time for more reading. I was able to finish reading Smart, Wrong, and Lucky by Jonathan Mayo over the weekend. My review of that book will be running on Dugout Dirt within the next week. I’m currently reading The History of Sketch Comedy by Keegan-Michael Key and Elle Key. I’ll have more on this in a moment.
