Back to the Future
I took a break over Memorial Day weekend to go Back to the Future and the trilogy is still as fun as ever.
Going into the holiday weekend, I had debated doing a rewatch of the Indiana Jones movies. It had been since the same weekend in 2020 since I last watched those. Instead, I decided upon BTTF because I had watched them on 4K UHD when they were released but felt no obligation to review because it wasn’t a review copy. This time around, with fewer theatrical releases and so many Tribeca screeners on hand, I needed to have some content running last week. Feel free to read my reviews of Part I, Part II, and Part III.
If Memorial Day weekend didn’t keep me busy enough, this past weekend took me offline for Shabbos and two days of Shavuot. That’s a lot of time being offline and not being able to get a head start on the rest of the week. Today alone was a busy day for home entertainment releases. Grease 2 made its arrival on Blu-ray for the first time. Meanwhile, Sony released Limited Edition 4K UHD SteelBooks for a pair of David Lean epics, The Bridge on the River Kwai and Lawrence of Arabia, for their 65th and 60th anniversaries, respectively.
