Apologies for the lack of updates

I’ll send out a formal update later today but first, I’m sorry for not updating this Substack as frequently as I’d liked. Being transgender means I am exhausted AF right now because of the draconian attacks on transgender rights across the country. I have a depression going on at the moment because of what’s happening in Florida, missing out on SXSW due to Texas having transphobic hatred on the books, Disney not doing enough, and more.

I’m in the awkward position of being a film/tv critic, aspiring filmmaker, and a Disney shareholder. It’s because of this position that I’ve been vocally speaking out against Disney CEO Bob Chapek for not doing enough to defeat the hatred in Florida. I used my shareholder responsibility on Sunday to vote against Chapek’s reelection to the board.
