An Apology

If you received a Stripe email saying that your subscription was cancelled, please let me apologize. It turns out that when I moved my newsletter from Substack to Buttondown, it somehow added an extra subscription for monthly subscribers only. The other subscription tiers were not impacted by the move. I’ve let Buttondown know about the double subscriptions as I followed all of their instructions for moving from Substack.
After a reader sent in a screenshot of their subscription being double charged, I did some further investigating. I manually went into billing for every paid subscription and there should be zero double charges going forward.
