America Betrays Ukraine
This edition criticizes the U.S. and Israel's betrayal of Ukraine, highlighting a troubling drift toward fascism.

I suppose we all knew it was coming to this—the United States of America betrayed democratic allies in Europe by siding with Russia in a Ukraine and European-backed UN resolution supporting a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace.
The convicted felon showed us who he was during his first administration. He showed how he had no respect for American democracy, denying legitimate election results, and inciting an insurrection on the U.S. Capitol. Here we are in February 2025 and the United States ambassador to the UN voted alongside fascists like Russia and North Korea against the aforementioned resolution.
Israel isn’t getting off scot-free here either. Their vote with Russia is just as despicable. It makes one wonder just what Putin has on Israel that is making Bibi and company so scared.
Recent polling suggested that 80% of Americans support Ukraine in the war against Russia. In a just world, the US would be voting with Ukraine and our actual allies. However, the current administration is fascist and authoritarian. We’ve seen how he’ll bypass Congress altogether and sign laws by executive order.
America should have learned a lesson after 2020: never elect a businessman who ran his own businesses into the ground. Executive experience in running a government matters. The insurrectionist had ZERO experience in either government or military. He didn’t ride a wave of military heroism into the White House. Instead, he ran on a wave of conspiracy theories.

Up until early Monday, I had an entirely other newsletter drafted regarding the FCC and its attacks on media companies valuing diversity, equity, and inclusion. Rather than split these up over two days, I’m including it here.
Imagine my surprise to see Comcast CEO Brian Roberts under attack on Monday morning by the convicted felon. If that’s not bad enough, take a look at this excerpt from a letter sent to Comcast by FCC chairman Brendan Carr:
“I am concerned that Comcast and NBCUniversal may be promoting invidious forms of DEI in a manner that does not comply with FCC regulations. For instance, Comcast states on its website that promoting DEI is ‘a core value of our business.'”
What does this administration have against diversity, equity, and inclusion practices? We should always strive to be practicing these values and yes, that also goes for the very people who are currently excluding Jews from such practices. You’d be surprised how many were taken aback to learn that Holocaust Remembrance Day or the Jewish calendar were no longer being recognized…because, yes, Jews fall under DEI. You wouldn’t know it from all the schools and colleges that exclude Jews from DEI.
Carr wants to aid the convicted felon is shedding anything that doesn’t promote a WHITE MEN ONLY business. That’s what this is really about at the end of the day. Anyone that doesn’t see this is only kidding themselves.
Here’s to hoping that Roberts, Comcast, NBCUniversal, and whatever former the spinoff company takes is an active part of resisting fascism.
