AMC Theatres Is Shooting Itself In The Foot

AMC Theatres is shooting itself in the foot with the fakakta idea of dynamic pricing for seats.

I’ll have a formal newsletter update coming soon but I’m not going to be able to support AMC Theatres beyond attending press screenings. There’s no need to treat movie theaters in the same way that one attends a Broadway show, concert, or sporting event. Those venues offer a gazillion seats as it is. Theaters do not have similar capacity.
