Book of the Month – March 2023
My Book of the Month for March 2023 is A Region of Reverie. It's a collection of poems and mini stories about one of my favourite places, the Lake District. The pieces of writing in this e-book are split into three categories:
'A Place to Savour' - this section looks at how beautiful the Lakes are.
'A Place of Change' - the focus here is on how inspirational the Lakes can be.
'A Place Overrun' - this final section is about how the Lakes are being affected by tourism.
If you want to lose yourself in some writing about one of the UK's most picturesque places, download A Region of Reverie. It's free all of March. The links are below:
Amazon, Apple Books, Barnes and Noble, Google Play, Kobo
March Promotion
As well as downloading A Region of Reverie free, take advantage of the promotion below.
A Glass of the Good Stuff. From 7-13 March, Wine Not? will be free to download. This is a collection of poems all about alcohol and getting drunk. The main character embarks on a night of drinking and likens alcohol to rocket fuel because of the effects it has on him.
Newest Blog Post
My newest blog post is 'Why I Wrote Love in Brief'. It tells you a bit more about Love in Brief, a collection of 200 two-sentence romance stories and the writing of it. I'm going to write one or two more posts this month, including one about the writing of A Region of Reverie.
Print Editions
I've finally got round to creating print editions of all twelve of my e-books. They're still a work in progress. Proof copies have been ordered and are on their way. When they arrive, I'll check them and once I'm happy with all twelve, I'll make them available. They'll be on Amazon only and each one will be printed on demand.
Once I've got print editions sorted, every new book I release will have both digital and print versions available from day one.
This Month I Will…
Publish Frog and Ghosts. This standalone e-book is a collection of rants about online dating. I hold nothing back and unleash my true feelings about this necessary evil.
Continue working on my short Christmas-themed horror stories and My Time.
Continue gathering ideas for Sim 5. I've got loads of ideas so far and the story is going to be quite layered and complex. A delightful puzzle that some people will find frustrating!
I've been writing some more two-sentence horror stories recently. I've already written 200 of them and have published them as Terror in Brief. If I manage to come up with enough two-sentence horror stories, I'll publish a second instalment.
Thanks for Reading!
Now that you've finished reading this, you can breathe a sigh of relief. Yes, it's over!
