It's Been a While!
Just a quick email to say that I am still alive and kicking. Well, not literally kicking, but you get my drift. I haven’t sent an email in a few months because of a slight issue. Long story short, my laptop broke and I had to download new publishing software and rebuild all of my e-books from scratch. Then I had to upload them all to the six platforms they’re on again. It took a lot longer than I anticipated and there were a few setbacks along the way, but now it’s all done.
New E-Book: Flashes of Fright: Volume III
That’s been my focus recently though I have managed to publish a new e-book. It’s Flashes of Fright: Volume III, my third collection of 1,000-word horror stories. I had a great time writing them and am pleased to be able to share them. Some of them are creepy, some are disturbing and some are tragic.
All of them are standalone stories except the last one, The Grobble: Part III. This is the third instalment in the Grobble series (Part I is the final story in Flashes of Fright; Part II is the final story in Flashes of Fright: Volume II).
As usual, some of the stories are inspired by two-sentence horror stories found in my Terror in Brief e-books.
What’s Next?
Sorrow in Brief is almost done. This is a collection of 200 two-sentence sadness stories. Think Terror in Brief but instead of the stories being frightening and creepy, they’re depressing and distressing - it’s certainly an uplifting read!
I’ve also been working on even more short horror stories. This time, they’re drabbles (stories of 100 words exactly). I’ve written 50 so far and will write some more before publishing them.
I’m not sure which e-book will be out next but I’ll let you know.
