Book of the Month – April 2023
My Book of the Month for April 2023 is Sweet and Sour. It's a short poetry book all about love and relationships. Don't worry – it's not too mushy. The e-book will be free to download all of April.
The poems are split into three bluntly named sections:
'Single'
'Taken'
'Single Again'
I really had to get my brain working to come up with these section titles! If you're keen to give my love/relationship poems a read, the links are below:

Another one of my e-books is going to be free to download this month, but for a limited time.
Frights That Are Gone in a Flash. From 10-15 April, my e-book Terror in Brief will be free to download. By this time, the sequel, Terror in Brief: Volume II, will be available to download.
Newest Blog Post
My newest blog post is 'Why I Wrote A Region of Reverie'. It tells you a bit more about A Region of Reverie, which was last month's Book of the Month.
Newest E-book
I had a very short story lying around on my laptop. It's called The Barber's Hair and it's actually the first short story I've ever written. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing... Anyway, I decided on a whim to self-publish it.
So what's it about? It focuses on Anthony and his drive to the countryside. While out for the day, he comes across a barber who's at the centre of a curious paradox.
The story is brief (it's only 2,477 words) and very straightforward. I enjoyed writing it and reading through it again many years later.

This is my shortest e-book by far. I could have waited and released The Barber's Hair alongside a few other short stories, but I decided to release them individually instead.
I have numerous short stories in various states of completion knocking about. They're not forgotten, as I intend to finish and release each one.
To clarify, I'm not talking about horror stories. My plan is for all horror-themed short stories to be released in collections, e.g. Dog Flight. All short stories that aren't horror themed I'll release one by one as I finish them.
This Month I Will…
Publish Frog and Ghosts. I was going to publish this in March, but it's been delayed because of personal circumstances. It's nearly finished and will definitely be coming out this April.
Publish Terror in Brief: Volume II. This is my second collection of two-sentence horror stories.
Also be working on various longer projects including My Time, short horror stories and Sim-5.
Thanks for Reading!
If you've finished reading this, you can conquer the world!
