There is so much happening this month, so this will be a rapid fire of cool news! Starting with the most obvious (the release) and then onward to the surprises!
It’s Ruined History’s release day! With this one we’ve reached two thirds of the planned novellas. I’m really excited for this one, and how it pulls a lot of things together.
The big sale on all the other Nerezia novellas to celebrate lasts until tomorrow (Sept 10), so if you wanted to catch up, now is a great time!
I wrote a short interactive fiction game! It is Painted Flock adjacent, but you don’t need to have read it to play at all.
It’s called Painted Kitty, and you’re a dirty little kitty who got paint on himself and needs to escape the bath! It plays in a matter of minutes and is totally free. I made it as a fun way for me to learn my way around this format, and I really enjoyed my experience.
Being Aro is a multi-genre YA aromantic anthology, and I will have a short story in it. There’ll be a full ToC announcement later, but I … can’t wait any longer LOL. I am not made for secrets, and new ones are coming in, so this one is coming out (now that I can announce it).
My story is a loose sci-fi aro Narcissus reimagining. You know, that part of the myth where Narcissus gets cursed because he rejected all suitors? Yeah, there was some good juice in there. :) It becames its own thing with time, and I’m looking forward to sharing more fully.
Between this and Common Bonds 2, 2026 is going to be incredible for aromantic short stories <3
