Lost Traditions is coming out soon, I'm an Indie Ink Awards finalist, and we're running an itchio bundle full of friendship tales!

February has rolled around faster than I could account for. This is going to be a busy month, so I’ll be in your inbox more than usual <3 Let’s get the ball rolling!

Lost Traditions

Lost Traditions releases on February 9! That’s barely more than a week, wow. It is available in preorders in both ebooks and paperback.

One of my very favourite part of Nerezia is updating the map every book. It has a little homemade dotted line on it that tracks the group's journey, and it brings me great joy!!

Look at them, up to Nerezia 6's travel! They start on the right map.

A map of part of Nerezia's upper continent, a long vertical and pointy stretch of land that continues past the top right border. A dotted line arrives from the east ocean to land on the coast by Virze, then plunges through a mountain range and to a conic shape named Sioreze. It ends there for now.

A map of Nerezia's lower continent, a round-ish body mass. A dotted line moves from Trenaze, in the middle of a desert, to the Dead Archives, through the mountain by the Inari Pass, into a big redwood forest and to Alleaze by the west coast. Each landmark is illustrated by a symbol. The dotted line then goes into the waves, where it passes through a kraken's tentacles.

Prompt Week for #PrideBookFair continues with this question about the last good queer book reads, and I COULDN'T limit myself to one. XD

So here are four of my recent-ish (last few months) reads with a few words about them! Conveniently all indies, because I'm me.

🌈📚 🌈🚀💫

THE POTION GARDENER by Arden Powell - Extremely gender, cozy cottagecore novella part of a fantasy romance series that never misses.
SANCTUARY by Andi C. Buchanan - What if your found family included the ghosts in the huge haunted house everyone shares?
THE STONES STAY SILENT by Danny Ride - An aro trans man tries to live his truth in a world that rejects him; focus on daily life, bakery, travel, and kindness
BLOODY SPDE by Brittany M. Willows - Incredibly lovely cast, fun story that goes all in on the anime energy in a way that is so genuine and inspiring.

A bright pinkish red square over cartoon falling books. Written in white is a prompt for #PrideBookFair. June 10: What was the last queer book you read and loved?

A promotional image for Lost Traditions. At its top are the covers for the six previous Nerezia novellas with "The Queer & Cozy Episodic Fantasy Adventure continues in... Lost Traditions (Nerezia #7). The novella's cover, featuring a cat person in a marsh full of blue flowers, is on the right. at the bottom is the blurb:

Left within a crumbled monastery deep in a haunted marsh are the angry Fragmented remains of an Inae Earth Master desperate to pass on their knowledge. When they possess Horace, Keza is forced to curb her abrasive nature to meet the Master's stringent demands and become an heir worthy of their lost traditions, or lose her friend forever.

This one is narrated by both Horace and Keza! If you’re new to the series, or only partway through it, I have created my usual bundle on itchio! It lets you buy any individual book at a 33% discount, or all previous novellas at $2 a piece (total of $12!)

Indie Ink Awards

Very quick update on this year’s Indie Ink Awards to tell you all that Painted Flock is one of the Asexual and Aromantic Representation finalists!

Thank you to everyone who put in a vote for it. Painted Flock is navigates a lot of the grey areas of the aromantic spectrum and romantic relationships, and it means a lot for me to see it reach the finalists.

Itchio SFF Friendship Bundle

This month is going to be itchio bundle season again! I try to pick and choose which I join to make sure they’d interest you all, too, and how could I pass up a SFF friendship one?

This bundle contains 37 books for $35, and the genre mix is split in almost perfect thirds between fantasy, science-fiction, and sci-fi-fantasy (with two horror books). That’s pretty rare!

My own contributions is Awakenings!

Patreon Updates

It’s been a while since I made a little Patreon roundup, and that’s where I did all my End of Year discussions, so there’s a good number of posts!

As always, chipping in to Patreon these will get you access to a small, friendly discord too, and it remains one of the best ways to give me steady support. <3
