Bye Bye Amazon and Other Important Distributors Update
This is going to be a straightforward, short, but important update.
Starting June 1st, I will be removing all my ebooks from distribution to Amazon. This was already brewing in my mind, then they announced they’d make genAI summaries of (some, for now) book series on Kindle, and I’d call that the proverbial straw. If you absolutely wanted to buy it there, do it now.
If you own a Kindle reader, you will still be able to buy books from itchio and sideload them onto your device. This will also let you actually own the file!
I am also in the process of publishing directly with Kobo, as opposed as through a third party, so there might be short blips of availability there. I’m told it’s a very smooth process, but if you run into problems, give it a day and it should be back!
Ditto for paperbacks. I have some changes to make that might render my books them unavailable for a few days.
These last two should happen over the summer. They’re long overdue changes, and usually I don’t give warnings, but considering how much of it I’ll be doing, I thought it was warranted!
Next time though: (probably) a cover reveal!

I’ve had a few updates on Patreon since the last time I linked to these, so here’s a quick list! The most important of them is the May 13th one, though, in which I mention seeking a new part time job. It’s available to all Free Members.
