Additional Postage Required Episode 6 out today!

Hey again! Much shorter update this time just to let you all know that Episode 6 of Additional Postage Required is out today!

Here's the general show description again, if your memory's gotten hazy between March and April:
"Clem Bianchi is a courier, delivering mail in space one job at a time in a future where mankind has settled among the stars faster than communications technology can keep up. When a chance encounter awakens them to the ability to hear conversations tied to their mail, they embark upon a journey of adventure, conspiracy, and connections made across the stars."

The show was created by my buddy Jay Petrequin, and I helped as a producer, as well as co-writing Episode 3 and solo writing today's Episode 6!

APR Season 1 Episode 6, Freaky Fast:
"Clem Bianchi needs to get some work done on the Kind Starlight, but doesn't have enough cash to make the magic happen. When they take a side job, they encroach on pizza delivery driver turf - the land of the mail courier's oldest rival. A fast rivalry with a passionate pizza pusher turns into an all-out drag race across the streets of Volnutt, with a 10-year-old's birthday party hanging in the balance."

So thanks to Jay for letting me be self-indulgent with their baby and write a street racing episode about pizza. You can find the episode at the link above, here, or on the podcast app of your choice. I'm not gonna say podcatcher because that feels embarrassing.

I wrote up a commentary for the episode that includes stories from real life about where character names and story beats came from, and Jay always includes cool notes about directing and editing the episodes in their commentary too. You can get the episode commentaries, or just support the show because you're a sweetheart, on the APR Patreon.

And speaking of podcasts, you may also recall that my season co-hosting Riley Hopkins and Their Amazing Friends is underway, creating our Dragon Ball/Z/Super sequel series Dragon Ball Uuber.

The show was kind of born out of a conversation Riley and I had on a road trip years back, where to kill time they asked if there was any story I'd want to tell in the Dragon Ball universe. I came up with a story about how despite his whole identity being wrapped around being the proud Prince of All Saiyans, Vegeta never once tried to use the Dragon Balls to revive the Saiyans or his dad; why that might have been, and what he would do if his old culture suddenly came back.

The fleshed out version of that story, which Riley and Jeff helped me create on the podcast, starts on Sunday with Episode 7. You can find that show here! Or on the...sigh... podcatcher of your choice.

That's all for now: next time, new comics!
