Hello!

As we enter the cooler climes of autumn, we become more contemplative. We think about the past year, and we become grateful for the blessings in our lives. In that spirit, Chicago Whovians United shares that spirit as we announce our fall calendar.

Thanks to those who attended our last TARDIS Talk, and our next one will be special. We’re holding a very special double feature of Heaven Sent and It Takes You Away - and we’ll discuss their shared themes of grief and mourning. Join us via Zoom on Sunday, September 27th at 7:00 pm CST. For more details and to reserve your seat, RSVP via Facebook or Meetup.

We’re holding an in-person coffee gathering for both new and current Meetup members. If you’re in the Chicago area, please join us at The Brewed, located at 2843 North Milwaukee, on Saturday, October 3rd at 2:00 pm. You can find RSVP information via Facebook and Meetup.

Join us for an appropriately Halloween-themed audio featuring the Tenth Doctor and Donna on Sunday, October 11th at 7:00 pm. One of our Patreon members is sponsoring this listening party as we check out the audio story No Place. Be sure to reserve your slot (and receive the Zoom link) via Facebook or Meetup.

It’s the Dalektober/20 Years of Tennant crossover screening you weren’t expecting, but we’re showing anyway. Please join us via Zoom on Sunday, October 25th at 7:00 pm CST for Army of Ghosts and Doomsday! Be sure to RSVP for your virtual seat via Facebook and Meetup!

We’re planning to hold another mystery screening...but in November, we’ll highlight the classic series!  (We even have an actual wheel to spin to randomize it further). Be sure to RSVP via Facebook and Meetup to join us via Zoom on Thursday, November 12th at 7:00 pm CST.

Also mark down Sunday, November 22nd, as our pre-Doctor Who Day screening will be one that we haven’t held in years. We’ll watch episode one of An Unearthly Child followed by Remembrance of the Daleks. Grab your virtual seat by RSVPing via Facebook and Meetup!
