Our summer social season is off to a grand start with two great May gatherings (and a new virtual gathering in July!).
First, join us for our annual Cosplay Congregation at Blue Box Cafe on Saturday, May 17th at 12:00 pm. Blue Box Cafe is located at 176 E. Chicago Street in Elgin, just a short walk from Metra and Pace. We will also have a representative from WTIU Public Media interviewing people for an upcoming documentary! If you’re interested, just let us know you’re coming via Facebook or Meetup.
We’re also holding a special Memorial Day weekend virtual gathering as we take some “Short Trips with the Twelfth Doctor”. Whether you’re a Peter Capaldi fan, a Big Finish aficionado, or looking to participate in this year’s Big Finish writing competition, you’re welcome to join us on Sunday, May 25th at 2:00 PM CST. This may seem like an obvious choice, but we invite you to our “FATHER’S DAY on Father’s Day” Virtual Screening on Sunday, June 15th at 7:00 pm CST. More details via Facebook or Meetup
We’re holding our June in-person Social at Margie’s Candie’s in Bucktown. Join us for some great sweets before checking out Open Books and Alien Entertainment for your reading and viewing pleasure!
