Hello, everyone!
We hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend. Since we are entering the holiday season, we’re ready to help you stay in - and stay warm - with some virtual Doctor Who meetups!
We’ll be kicking off the holidays with our Virtual Member Holiday Social via Zoom on Thursday, December 11th, at 7:00 pm CST. Whether you’re fresh from Chicago TARDIS or just need someone to talk to, we’re planning to kick off the holiday season with festive conversation! RSVP for Zoom login information via Facebook and Meetup.
We’re kicking off our 20 Years of Tennant celebration by showing David Tennant’s first appearance as the Doctor in our kickoff screening of THE CHRISTMAS INVASION. Join us via Zoom on Sunday, December 21st, at 7:00 pm CST. As always, let us know you’re coming via Facebook and Meetup.
(Also, save the date - our second 20 Years of Tennant screening will be New Earth on Tuesday, February 10th at 7:00 pm CST. One of our Patreon members is sponsoring the screening, and we hope you can join us!)
If you’ve been curious about the classic series but want to enjoy a book club-style conversation, we’re proud to announce our first-ever Timey Wimey Watch Club on Sunday, January 4th! Our featured story will be Genesis of the Daleks, and we highly encourage you to watch it on YouTube before attending. (If you can’t, that’s OK - we’ll fill you in). If you’re interested, let us know via Facebook and Meetup.
(Mark your calendars for Sunday, January 18th at 2:00 pm CST for our Big Finish listening party featuring the Fourth Doctor and the Eighth Doctor. Details forthcoming)
We’re also participating in CONSole Room’s 2026 Virtual Convention on January 23rd through 25th. Once we know when our virtual panels will be scheduled, we will announce them via Facebook, Eventbrite, and Patreon.If you want to attend, you can RSVP for free or paid virtual memberships via Eventbrite.
Finally, we will screen The War Between the Land and the Sea in its entirety the week of February 22nd. We’re working out the exact details, but we will let you know the exact dates and times. Keep watching this space!
