Spring is arriving with the news of two newly discovered “missing” Doctor Who episodes...and yes, we’re tracking the news. Once they are available in the US, we will plan a special screening. Until then, allow us to provide virtual and in-person opportunities to celebrate our favorite Time Lord!
Join us for our post-Easter celebration of the 20th anniversary of Sarah Jane and the Doctor reuniting in the modern era. It’s the 20 Years of Tennant virtual screening you’ve been waiting for: School Reunion. Please RSVP via Facebook or Meetup to join us via Zoom on Tuesday, April 7th, at 7:00 PM CST.
Some people consider the 1996 Doctor Who TV movie a cornerstone of modern Who...but “back in the day,” it was controversial. Why, you may ask? Join us for a screening and discussion of the film at our special Timey Wimey Watch Club Zoom gathering on Sunday, April 19th at 7:00 pm CST. Just RSVP via Meetup or Facebook to let us know you’re coming.
We’re also dipping back into the Capaldi era to see the Twelfth Doctor and Clara meet the Mummy on the Orient Express. (That’s it. That’s the title.) Finally, join us for our yearly Cosplay Congregation at Blue Box Cafe in Elgin! Come hang out, enjoy some great food, and indulge in Whovian goodness! (Plus, there are always surprises that happen, so please don’t miss out!). We’ll be there on Saturday, May 30th, from 12:00 to 4:00 pm. (If you don’t cosplay, please come anyway!
