Special Announcement - January/February 2025 Update
We all change, when you think about it, we're all different people; all through our lives, and that's okay, that's good, you've gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be.
Times change, and now, so must we.
Short form - we’re changing our name. In February, we will become Chicago Whovians United.
You’re probably wondering why we’re doing this. After all, “Chicago Doctor Who Meetup” does what it says on the tin. However, we’ve made some serious changes in the past few years (and more specifically, post-COVID). We’ve integrated virtual meetups, reaching a greater audience. We’ve held different kinds of events. Most importantly, we’re moving closer to becoming a community. As we progress towards very uncertain times, we need to serve as a reminder that one thing binds us: a love of Doctor Who.
In that spirit, we’ll be holding our kickoff social on Sunday, February 9th at 7:00 pm CST. You can join us via Zoom, and you can RSVP via Facebook or Meetup.

We’ll be making appropriate changes to our social media channels and will be moving our website to a different address in the next few weeks. However, the best way to get updates is by signing up for our email newsletter. (We’ll keep that URL the same just to make it easier.
