The City of Richmond Office of Elections acknowledged a mistake was made on early voting ballots with incorrect House of Delegates listed for voters in precincts 310, 505 and 607.
The apology noted:
Voters in the affected precincts who want to vote early can either wait until the correct ballots are printed and provided to our office (likely early next week) or cast a provisional ballot at our office that will subsequently be validated and counted.

A man was killed and a teenager was injured in a shooting at the Hillside Court public housing community on Friday night, via WRIC. There have been 46 homicides in Richmond so far this year.
Goat Yoga RVA fell short of their goal of setting world record, with only about 300 people attending the event at the Diamond, via WTVR. The organization hopes to attempt the record again preferably at an indoor venue.

Markus Schmidt from the Mercury dives into Virginia’s medical marijuana market citing data from the state’s new seed-to-sale tracking system.
Online for only a few months, the platform logged nearly 18k plants, generating $30 million in sales across 256k transactions.
The tracking system’s early data offers a snapshot of what patients are buying. Nearly half of sales were flower, or cannabis buds, while concentrates made up 32% of purchases. Infused edibles accounted for 15%, and shake trim — the loose leaf material left after flower processing — represented 5%.
State regulators say these insights can guide oversight and improve transparency in a program that has faced persistent complaints from patients. Licensed processors must use the Metrc platform, which officials argue ensures only tested, regulated cannabis reaches consumers.
