the juice:
The owner of the Buffalo Wild Wings on Broad St., Belle Holdings, and the Virginia affiliate of the National gaming company Pace-O-Matic, have filed lawsuits against Attorney General Jason Miyares and Henrico Commonwealth Attorney Shannon Taylor in a continued battle over the “slot machines” operating in Virginia, from the Graham Moomaw at the Richmonder.
Moomaw writes:
Depending on how the suit progresses, the case unfolding in the Richmond suburbs could determine whether current Virginia law still allows skill games to exist as long as players don’t insert cash directly in the machines. If the plaintiffs lose and a court rules the ban still applies, it could give law enforcement officials a legal green light to go after the machines all over the state.
the pulp:
More than a dozen locations have been hit by bb gun vandalism in recent days, including the Hill Cafe in Churchill, and locations and Hull St. and East Canal St., from WTVR. Last month more than 30 cars and locations were hit by bb guns in the Sandston area. Henrico Police held a community meeting last night to address those acts of vandalism.
A woman was died after being struck by multiple vehicles late Monday evening at the intersection of Azelea Avenue and Sandpiper Drive in Henrico, via WWBT.
