Wesley Hedgepeth, a candidate running for the 4th district seat on Richmond’s City Council, hosted an ask me anything yesterday on reddit.
He is running against three other candidates including Garret Sawyer who was selected as the interim member after Jonathon Young resigned. Here is the fundraising so far of the declared candidates:
While the difference in money raised looks drastic, it is mostly money the candidates have themselves loaned to their campaigns, with Hedgewith loaning $2.5k and Sawyer $45k.
