The honeycombed-style parklet from Brookland Park Boulevard is moving to a new spot in Jackson Ward, via Jonathan Spiers at Bizsense. The custom-designed patio will take up one parking space on Adams St. in front of the new location for Ms. Bees Juice Bar.
RPS has modified their calendar to make up for instructional time lost last week and avoid extending the school year into June. January 15 and February 18, which were previously planning and professional development days, will now be regular school days.
There have been 68 total water main breaks in Richmond and the surrounding counties since last Tuesday, from WRIC. Low temperatures and the fluctuation of water pressure during outages and restoration contributed to the breaks.
The live cam of Poppy the pygmy hippo at the Richmond Metro Zoo is available daily from 9 am - 5 pm here. Poppy was born back in December and while active at night, she likes to spend her days resting in the water.
