Another winter storm is expected to hit central Virginia Tuesday morning, with VDOT already beginning to prepare the roads for the expected wintry mix.
Current forecasts project between 1 to 3 inches of snow and ice accumulation for the Richmond area, with Northern Virginia expecting as much as 8 inches, and areas south of the city likely to see much less snow, if at all.

South Richmond News reports the city of Richmond’s Gap Grant Program is now accepting applications. Residents whose housing costs are 30% or more of their income are eligible to receive a one-time payment of $1200.
A movie about Pharrell William’s childhood that was partially filmed in Richmond last summer has been cancelled in post-production, via Collen Curran at the RTD. Williams said:
When all of us got into the editing room we collectively decided there wasn’t a path forward to tell the version of this story that we originally envisioned.
