Wow! March has become much more busier than anticipated. In a good way but busy none the less. Let’s dive in with the big news! 👀

Major IRL Update

WELL! It finally happened, I’ll give some context but I’ve been at a Part-Time remote job for 4 years. NOW I finally got to a full-time position. After years of working holidays, it finally paid off- now literally. While I’m still filling out the overall effects at the time of writing, it means a lot of adjusting and better solidification of a schedule.

It’s going to effect a lot of things below, but this is something that I’ve been waiting for a long while!

Art Update

Before going forward, I absolutely want to thank everyone for the amount of commissions that flowed in! It absolutely smashed all of my expectations. I’m still working on them and hoping to finish before April

Things are backing up in the art world and I’m going to have to try to put more focus into it. Monthly Fanart Polls, Zines, Weekly Art-You might as well expect an avalanche of art for a few weeks or months. Because of that I’m going to have to majorly adjust what gets posted. Expect comm art to fill in the art for the usual weekend posts or even a couple breaks. OOPS. I’m more or less hoping this is more a big bump in the road and then we get back to our normally scheduled program!

Update: Looks like there’s a LOT more that I need to do, so there will be several days I won’t be posting art to focus on commissions and convention art. Apologies; as it looks like I’ll be crunching.

Conventions rolling out once more

We’re getting back into the convention circuit! I’ve begun to fill out and submit to several conventions. Right now I’m waiting on a few but one replied back with Acceptance. We’re heading to MerMagic Con!! I’m so excited to be going and I’m hoping to document the time there too! Wish me luck and here’s to more conventions!

Next Con confirmed: MerMagic Con

We’re finally chosen for the next convention! And it’s one I’ve been looking forward to! It’ll be from April 11th and 12th, and it will be located at Silver Spring Recreation and Aquatic Center in Maryland. Wish me luck as it’s hopefully one right up my alley.

Month of OCs Update

It feels like it’s been a while but Month of OCs is spinning up once more! The theme is “We Built This City.” with a focus on Original Characters interacting in the big city. I’m excited to be getting around to this as this is the theme I’ve been storing for so many years. If this is going to be the last one then it’s best to finish on this note.

I’m going to try to see if I can get a form out or at least look into doing an interest check for a possible zine/collab. Given how busy this month ended up becoming, more info will be out next month.

The start month is September 2026, that gives people time and myself to work on stuff for Month of OCs. I’m hoping to finish off in a bit of style.

Video and Shorts Update

Yeah, shorts have not been flowing as much as I’d thought huh? Turns out it’s because I need to do a better job at just stockpiling and making shit. There’s some fun ones but several ideas, books and art need to be done. Just time, especially now. I also want to do shorts related to my Original Characters, share them more and give some lore as well. This is more… loosey goosey, nothing is finalized and I’d doubt it will be for a bit.

There are a few other video ideas, like favorite type of anime character + how it influenced Hannah, but those are still brewing. Regardless, I’m going to have to work on those, possibly this summer if I get an opening. Will keep you all informed when I can.

Streaming Sidelined - The end of a Stream Focus

While looking around, I ended up finding one of my earliest streams. 2016, there might have been instances where I have been streaming earlier, as I remember doing so on the family laptop, on the bed with a Snowball microphone. However, looking at both everything and what’s coming up on the horizon, it does look like its best to hang on the dedication to streaming.

It’s a combination of reasons: Looking at the new job opportunities, I doubt I’ll have time to really focus on what I would like to do and the amount of delays for the Hollow Knight LP has settled in that fact even more. One of the things I also enjoy about streaming is the interactions with chat and trying to impliment things that people would have fun with even as a chatter. Tech issues not only push that back BUT also the lack of people chatting and interaction. I can not deny that while I do understand that many people do lurk in my community, it is too hard to tell if that is what is actually happening or if coping due to that lack of interaction.

I also recognized that I did not put in as much effort as I should have early on, like cutting up streams into videos very early on in my time streaming. The only person I blame for this is myself, doing things sooner as well as fostering the interactions much early on. So, what does this mean going forward?

Multi-Streams Halting

I will be honest that the big reason why I kept doing it is because multiple people decided to keep going back to Twitch and because of how long I’ve been on the site. But, I can’t lie in saying that the big reason for keep going was ad revenue and how many games had built-in integration with Twitch.

While I don’t know how much of a good idea this is as it adds much more weight into YouTube, this will free up more bitrate for YouTube which I saw as my main.

The only streams going forward will be the Hollow Knight LPs that will be duel-streamed. And after that it’ll be focused on YouTube for streaming.

Layout Simplification and PNGTubing

Expect the layout to be changed to be more simple going forward. Since I don’t have time nor energy to do more complex things in regards to the streams. So if something breaks, it’ll get hard to trouble-shoot on the fly. Also, I’ll be using a plugin to do PNGTuber in OBS itself since I’m not too focused on VTubing. It’ll mean I can do a better job with the change I wanted to do, but that’s about it.

The main focus: Collabs, Art, And/Or Mood

The main focus will basically be on Art, any collabs, and even any streams I just feel like doing. LPs might be a good idea but will be quite rare going forward.

I’d rather let you all know and thank you for a decade of these streams. It’s not a permanent end, but it will be heavily slowed down going forward. Still, I can’t thank you all enough for coming to the streams and hanging out.

Conclusion

There is just so much going on at the moment that this ended up being finished at the final hour of upload. Just goes to show how much is needed to get done at this point. I do hope you all stick around for this busy March.
